The UNCA (United Nations Correspondent Association) celebrates its 70th anniversary and does so with an outdoor party in the UN’s Glass Palace garden on June 26th.
The anniversary marks seven decades of journalism committed to reporting on the UN and its many causes and objectives.
The opening speech will be presented by the Secretary General of the United Nations, António Guterres.
For the occasion, the “IT’S Italian System” desk will be set up for True Italian Food and Wine, with the aim of sharing the excellence of Italian food and wine in this special and international evening.
Marco de Ceglie, member of the board of the North America Olive Oil Association and desk coordinator, says “It is a great pleasure for us to participate in this important moment celebrating the 70th anniversary of an important association like the UNCA. Italy is an undisputed world reference point in the food and wine sector. This record is confirmed by consumers and American importers who greatly reward Made in Italy.”
